PhD Program Curriculum
PhD program at TUFS is not a curriculum-based program. The students are required to acquire 12 credits or more during his/her enrollment. Unlike our PCS-MA program, the classes held in English are very limited. Having high Japanese proficiency will broaden the range of classes you may take.
Supervising committee will be formed for each students consisting of three professors from TUFS. Upon entering the program, student shall discuss with his/her main supervisor regarding the two other professors and the classes he/she shall register for.
