The President of the University of Salamanca Visits TUFS

On Monday, October 29, from the University of Salamanca, Spain, President Prof.Daniel Hernández Ruipérez, Vice-President Prof.Noemí Domínguez García, and Prof.Ovidi Carbonell Cortés, head of the Centre Cultural Spanish-Japanese , visited TUFS. Accompanied by Hiroyasu Yoshioka and Kazushige Mori of the University of Salamanca’s Group of Friends, they had discussions with TUFS’ President Kameyama, Director Miyazaki, Vice-President Tateishi, and Professor Takagaki.
The University of Salamanca holds a 800 year history, and is Spain’s oldest university, as well as the earliest established university in Europe. During the friendly discussions, the involved expressed on the roles of universities amidst an era of globalization, and each university's current situation in student exchanges. Furthermore, they actively discussed on possible future exchanges and mutual cooperation.
