Hosted a Lecture by Mr. Eduardo Mendoza, a Spanish Contemporary Novelist

On Wednesday, April 3, Mr. Eduardo Mendoza, a popular Spanish contemporary novelist, who was invited to Japan by the Instituto Cervantes, gave a lecture at TUFS. It was hosted by the TUFS Executive Committee for the 400th Anniversary Celebration of Japan-Spain Relations, and titled “City, Language and Literature.” He captivated the audience with warm and humorous stories of his life as a novelist and the history of his many works. Prior to this lecture, he and Dr. Antonio Gil de Carrasco, the director of the Instituto Cervantes, visited with TUFS President Hirotaka Tateishi and TUFS Executive Director Koji Miyazaki.
