TUFS Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT)

On Friday, March 30th, TUFS and NUT signed the Memorandum of Understanding, which aims at enhancing cooperation and collaboration in the following areas: improvement of international partnership, use of facilities and equipment both in Japan and overseas, implementation of symposia and joint research projects, exchange of students, and credit exchange programs.

On the same day, TUFS President Tateishi and other members visited NUT, and the signing ceremony was held with faculty members of both universities in attendance.

Last year, NUT and TUFS were both selected as the ‘Top Global Universities” (Funding Type B: Toward Globalization). The selected universities receive funding provided by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Oversea bases are essential for their frameworks.

We will continue to establishing partnerships in various areas to pursue our frameworks: “GIGAKU Global Network” (NUT) and “Global Japan Office” (TUFS).
