Students hold Interactive Class with Citizens of Fuchu

On Friday 23 ^rd June, students from the School of Language and Culture Studies Global Communication Course held a special interactive class with citizens of the Fuchu City area as part of the elective internship course. It is the third time this class has been held, with topics such as 'child rearing,' and 'pollution' being the focus of previous years.

The students began the class with their carefully planned presentations, and then split into groups with the participating citizens. Some groups decided to perform skits in foreign languages, while others focused on self-introductions in foreign languages, and one group even presented South-East Asian variations of the game 'paper scissors rock.' The presentations were equally entertaining and educational, and the students received great praise from their guests. In the autumn semester, these students will focus on making a 'convenient lifestyle guide for foreigners in Japan.' There are around 50 students participating, with the course proving to be extremely popular.
