Prof. Nakami Tateo Nominated as Honorary Member of the International Association for Mongol Studies

Prof. Nakami Tateo (Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa) was recognised for 'Contributions to academic activities and academic achievements in the field of Mongol research' and was nominated as an honorary member at the 11 th International Congress of Mongolists.
Prof. Nakami is the seventh in Japan to have been nominated as an International Association for Mongol Studies honorary member, following Egami Namio, Hattori Shiro, Honda Minobu, Umesao Tadao, Wakamatsu Kan, and Okada Hidehiro.
