Minister of South Africa in Japan Visits TUFS

On Monday, April 11, 2022, Minister Counsellor, Ghaleeb Jeppie of the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa in Japan visited President Kayoko Hayashi.

This meeting was also attended by TUFS Vice President for International Affairs Jun Matsukuma and Professor Shinichi Takeuchi (African Studies Center). The African Studies Center and the University of Tsukuba will serve as the secretariat for the 5th South Africa-Japan University Forum (SAJU), which is scheduled to be held online in July this year. Preparations are currently underway with the cooperation of the Embassy of Japan in Tokyo.
