TUFS Students Participate in Arabic Speech Contest

On Sunday, June 12, 2022, an Arabic speech contest organized by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Japan was held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Bahrain. This is the first time for an Arabic speech contest to be held in Japan. Under the watchful eyes of His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Yusuf Aldoseri, and TUFS Vice President Jun Matsukuma, students delivered speeches on themes such as "Cultural exchange I would like to try if I were Bahrain's ambassador”.
The students, who had not had such an opportunity in recent years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, were able to put their all into demonstrating the results of their daily studies.
The winners
- First and Special Prize: Ms. Yoshioka Tamami (3rd year student, School of International and Area Studies)
- Second prize: Ms. Shimomiya Anna (3rd year student , School of Language and Culture Studies)
- Third prize: Mr. Yoko Ryota (4th year student , School of Language and Culture Studies)
