Visit of Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations (FAO) Representative

On Wednesday, July 27, 2022, Ms. Miho Mitsui, Human Resources Officer at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations Headquarters in Rome, paid a courtesy visit to Vice President Jun Matsukuma.

FAO is a specialized agency that works on food security and nutrition, agriculture including crops, livestock, fisheries and aquaculture, and rural development. This year, TUFS signed an Internship Agreement with FAO that allows our students to participate in internships at FAO.

Part-time lecturer Yukio Yokoi (International Organization), who has practical experience at FAO, joined the meeting and exchanged ideas on how to make the most of the internship so that it will be a good experience for students seeking to play an active role in the international community in the future.
