Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Japan and President of International University for the Humanities and Development of Turkmenistan Visit TUFS

On Friday, February 17, 2023, Mr. Esen AYDOGDYYEV, Rector of the International University for the Humanities and Development of Turkmenistan, and Mr. Atadurdy BAYRAMOV, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Japan, paid a courtesy visit on President Kayoko HAYASHI. The meeting was attended by Shizuo SHIMADA and Satoru KIMURA, lecturers in charge of the Central Asian Area studies, as well as Tomomi OTSU, special assistant to the president and an associate professor.

Ambassador BAYRAMOV, who has been studying Japanese since his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Japan in July 2022, read his greeting in Japanese. Rector AYDOGDYYEV has a strong interest in cooperation in Japanese language education with our university. In response, Associate Professor OTSU explained the online Japanese language courses offered by TUFS and the Nijiiro Japanese language study support website.

It is hoped that this visit will further stimulate exchange between TUFS and Turkmenistan.
