Statement of the Colloquium:The Central and East European Graduate Research Colloquium, "Discussing Cultural Institutions," provides an opportunity for master's and doctoral students to present their ongoing research on cultural institutions, memory, and public history in Central and Eastern Europe. Alongside the student presentations, two professors will offer feedback to help the projects develop. The colloquium supports individual research as well as encourages exchange and promotes collaboration between young Japanese scholars and European experts.
