Outline | This year marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of Eiji Asada, the recipient of the first Ph.D. degree awarded by the University of Chicago in 1893. After he came back to Japan, he devoted himself to English education at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.In a time of globalization, this exhibition illustrates how Professor Asada had international views in the Meiji era. |
