Central European University and Tokyo University of Foreign Studies cordially invite you to attend the upcoming symposium, “University and Humanitarian Crisis: How Academics Should Respond to Extreme Violence and Tragedy” on *June 24th at 9 AM CET*. Inspired by CEU’s Invisible University for Ukraine Initiative and focusing on the war in Ukraine, this symposium gathers scholars from around the world to answer the question: “How should academics respond to humanitarian crises?” The speakers of this conference go beyond Ukraine, looking at responses to the 2015 Refugee Crisis, the Afghanistani refugee crisis, and beyond.
