Announcement about winter holidays 2013

Dear all,
Please note the follwoing information regarding winter holiday.
1) <Winter holiday for faculty members>
From December 28th (Sat) through January 5th (Sun)
(Work will be from Jan. 7th (Mon)
2) <Winter holiday for students>
From Dec. 26th(Thu) through Jan. 9th (Thu)
(Classes will resume from Jan. 10th (Fri)
3) For those of you who are planning to go for self-training during the winter holidays, please give us the form(s) well in advance.
4) For those of you who are planning to go abroad during winter holidays, make sure to tick "Departure with special re-entry permit system" on the embarkation card for reentrant (otherwise you will lose your qualification to reenter into Japan) Also, please be sure to SHOW YOUR RESIDENT CARD AT the departure at the airport.
(As the re-entry permit system has has changed since July 2012, you don't need to go to Immigration Bureau to apply for a re-entry permit if you have valid Resident Card or Alien Registration card.)
